What is Wheatbelt NRM?
Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management (WNRM) is not for profit organisation that leads positive change in Natural Resource Management through the creation of respectful partnerships, innovation and community action.
We work with individuals and groups to protect land, flora and fauna and develop sustainable agricultural systems.
No matter who you are nor where you’re from, we welcome and encourage you to get involved.
The Avon Valley Basin extends 12 million hectares from the Darling Range in the West to beyond Southern Cross in the East, as well as towards Lake Grace in the South and all the way North to Dalwallinu.
Our major population centres include Northam, York, Brookton, Merredin, Cunderdin, Beverley and Wongan Hills.
Our purpose is to lead positive change in Natural Resource Management through the creation of respectful partnerships, innovation and community action.
Our 2027 vision is a “vibrant Wheatbelt community creating healthy environments and livelihoods”
